speakers announced
The
Business Review Tuesday, April 29, 2008 Executives
from Xerox, Sematech and Tokyo Electron are among the speakers scheduled to
appear at CIRCA '08, a nanotechnology conference, scheduled for May 19-21.
Santokh
Badesha, a Xerox fellow and manager, is scheduled to give the keynote
speech at the event. Badesha holds 158 Other
speakers include: Michael Polcari, president and CEO of International
Sematech, a consortium of computer chip makers based in
Austin, Texas; Harvey Frye, president of Tokyo Electron America; Ronald
Pirich, a technical fellow at Northrop Grumman Corp.; and Ralf Graber, executive
vice president at M+W Zander. It
is the second year the conference is being held. Last year's event was
attended by more than 200 executives. CIRCA
stands for Convergence of International Research and Commercialization in The
conference is being held at the Gideon
Putnam Hotel in Saratoga Springs and the University
at Albany's College
of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, located on the Albany
NanoTech complex. For
